As you know it from the past, Ignition is more than a skateshop. Not only do we have our own post office and a bar, we even brew our own beer!
But, whenever we do something, we want it to be something special. So, we are not only bringing you beer, no - we teamed up with the Austrian Brew Pub of the year and are bringing you beer that is rarely found at other places…
Hofbräu was founded in 2000 by Gerhard Forstner, a „beer freak“ himself, who was annoyed by the expansion of mass-beer, brewed by hudge beer corporations.
The focus of Hofbrau is, and will always be, quality and diversity. Working in a traditional way and against an industry standard is also important.
In 2004, Hofbräu was nominated “Austria’s Best Brew Pub of the Year” by the Austrian “Beer Baron” Conrad Seidl.
Ignition Beer has, similarly to the bavarian “Weißbeer”, a typical yeast layer at the bottom of the bottle, as an effect of post fermentation in the bottle.
Blond Beer
Bright, blond beer with a typical "Pils" character.
Pils malt and bright caramel malt, combined with a good portion of Hop, makes this beer an unforgettable drinking expierience!
Red Beer
A beer without "corners and edges", simply drinkable!
It resembles a "Märzen" beer, but is a bit smoother and rounder with a slight malt taste.
The red color results from the choice of roast-stage of the malt, in connection with the hard water, used for the brewing process.
Chili Beer
The trend beer. The first brewing tests were very "flaming". But in the end, the beer is harmless to your palate and throat.If you don't like Chili, you won't like the chili beer, but everyone else will love the taste!
IgnitionBeer is exclusively available at the Ignition Bar (ignitionbar.com) and Shop (ignitionshop.com). The first run is a very limited edition and is meant to be sold out in a very short time.
We definitelly have a new delivery planned soon. Additionally will we host an Ignition Beer + BBQ Event in 2005, where we have a lot of beer-specials planned! Stay tuned!
